In 1973, I explored concepts of the primordial push and pull of darkness and light and space, thus making infinity art inside a mirror box.

I was fascinated with the circle symbol, being the energy of the Atom up to the universe in space. How that circle related to an optical structure was my focus as experiments.

From 1973 to 1978, the color was airbrushed oil paint for my translucent images. 1978 on I use dichroic optical color.
